What Is the Ramalama Bang Bang Trend?

Ramalama Bang Bang is a Halloween costume walk set to Róisín Murphy's 2005 song "Ramalama (Bang Bang)", track 8 on her first solo album Ruby Blue. On TikTok the phone sits low and sees only legs and shoes while someone stalks toward it, then the camera tilts up on the beat and the whole costume is the punchline. The walk showed up in the summer of 2025, peaked around Halloween that year, and came back at the end of September 2026 as a costume reveal.

AI creators added a pet version. On 9 October 2026, @fullcatalchemist posted AI kittens trick-or-treating down a pumpkin-lit street, with a new costume at every cut: a witch, a vampire, then a bat beside a kitten in a pumpkin suit. This page is that format with your own pet in the starring role. The demo on the right is that original kitten reel, so you can see the shots before you generate yours.

How the Ramalama AI Generator Works

This template runs on an image-to-video model. You upload one photo and write no prompt. The model locks species, breed, face, eyes, ears, muzzle, fur color, fur length and markings to that photo, then stages the walk: your pet moves upright on its hind legs toward a camera on the ground, an orange jack-o'-lantern candy bucket in one paw, past glowing pumpkins and a porch ghost.

Three hard cuts change only the costume. First a black pointed witch hat with an orange bow and a starry cape. Then a black vampire cape with a red lining and a high collar. Then a witch hat with small bat wings and a short cape, walking next to a separate tabby kitten that stays in an orange pumpkin suit. The Scene select swaps the street — Pumpkin Street, Foggy Porch, Moonlit Alley or Driveway Night — without changing the pet. The clip is vertical 9:16 and about 15 seconds, with paw-steps and night ambience. It does not include the original song. Add that sound inside TikTok, Reels or Shorts from the platform library when you post, and keep the AI label on.

Which Photo Works Best

The face and the fur do the work, because they have to survive three costumes and a walk that fills the frame. Use one sharp photo of the whole pet, ears to paws, in even light, eyes open, face toward the camera. One animal only. Leave off hats, costumes and strong filters — those fight the outfits the template adds.

Cats land closest to the kitten reel. A dog or another pet takes the same place and walks upright on its hind legs, which is the joke of the format. A photo with the whole body in view helps that read as a walk instead of a floating head. Use your own pet, or a pet whose owner said yes.

How to Post the Ramalama Costume Walk

Captions that fit the format: "Did my cat win this trend?", "Ramalama Bang Bang, pet edition", "Three costumes, one cat", or your pet's name. Hashtags that travel with it are #ramalamabangbang, #ramalama and #halloween, plus a pet tag such as #catsoftiktok. Post the vertical file to TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

The generated file carries original ambience, not the 2005 recording. If you want the cuts to land on the song, add "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" from the app's sound library. That song belongs to its owners, and this page does not grant any music rights — check the platform rules before you use the clip in an ad. The kittens in the demo reel are AI, and your clip is AI too, so leave the platform's AI label on.

It is a Halloween costume walk on TikTok set to Róisín Murphy's 2005 song "Ramalama (Bang Bang)". The camera sits low while someone stalks toward it, then tilts up on the beat to show the costume. The AI pet version on this page keeps the low walk and changes the costume at every cut.

Yes. Any pet can take the starring spot. The walk is upright on the hind legs with a candy bucket, so a full-body photo helps. Cats look closest to the original kitten reel.
Three, in order: a witch with a pointed hat, an orange bow and a starry cape; a vampire with a red-lined cape and a high collar; then a bat-winged witch hat and a short cape, walking beside a kitten in a pumpkin suit. This template does not swap in other costumes.
The demo reel on this page is the original AI kitten clip, so that preview has the song. The video you generate has footsteps and night-street ambience only. Add "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" from TikTok, Reels or Shorts when you post if you want the trend sound. This generator does not license that recording.
This template is built for one pet photo, because the reel it follows stars animals walking upright. For a person in a Halloween look, use the AI Halloween Filter.
About 15 seconds, vertical 9:16, 480p by default, as an MP4. That length covers all three costume cuts. You can switch duration and resolution in the playground settings before you generate.
The face and fur have to stay readable through three costumes. Use a sharper front-facing photo in good light, with the eyes open and no costume already on the pet, then run it again. Every generation is a new take.
New accounts get free credits to start, and the exact credit cost for your settings is shown on the Generate button before you click. A failed video gives its credits back. No app download or video editing is required.
Yes. Your uploads are not posted anywhere or shown to other users. The finished video goes to your private library, and you can delete it there at any time.
